Located in the beautiful rural hamlet of Eaton in the heart of Cheshire and overlooking the Peak District National Park, The Plough Inn offers you the perfect place to eat, drink and stay.

The Plough is licensed to hold Civil Wedding Ceremonies and we can we cater for weddings large and small in our beautiful barn.

First time visiting the Plough Inn for my birthday celebration tonight. I’ve got to say what a wonderful place it is, such a cosy place with friendly staff. The food was amazing!! Visited for one of my best friends weddings. The venue was incredibly nice with both functions rooms used being spacious and close proximity to the bar areas whilst being sufficiently sectioned off to the general public. Wedding breakfast/food provided was really tasty and portions were generous. Pricing of the drinks was very reasonable, especially given it was a wedding and most places hike the prices up it appears the plough inn hadn’t. Great place.

We chose the plough to celebrate a 90th birthday party for a group of 9. The staff made the occasion extra special and nothing was to much trouble. The food was excellent and service was prompt. The atmosphere was delightful. We will be coming back for the 100th birthday party.

Lovely food and super service today. Dog friendly, provided water for the dog without asking. Didn't have to get the attention of the staff at all during our visit. The pub was busy but the standard of the service and food remained high.
