Hi all at the Plough Inn,

Apologies for not getting in touch sooner; I am currently recovering from having my tonsils removed. What a lovely start to married life!

We cannot thank you enough for all the help and support you gave to us right from the very start of the process up until our big day on the 21st October.

We came to you after cancelling another venue due to a disappointing experience but had the complete opposite experience with yourselves. From the first visit, we felt welcomed by every single member of staff and the venue has such a genuine feeling of warmth. We felt completely relaxed going into our day because of your professionalism and support, and had absolutely no doubts or worries that everything was going to run perfectly. The food, the timings of the day, the co-ordinators; everything was perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better day and that is all down to you.

Thank you so much again and we will definitely be back for a roast dinner at some point soon!

When Ella isn't button hole pinning and making sure the Barn looks picture perfect for your day, she can be found in the gym, out on a nice long walk or baking up some tasty treats! 🍰

If you have booked your wedding with our 2025 package menu, or if you haven’t booked and would like to experience all that we can offer, the menu tasting evening is the perfect event for you!

Our Barn will be beautifully set for a Wedding by our team of recommended suppliers and you will have the chance to chat to other couples about their Big Days on shared tables!

🩷 Canapes will be served on arrival from 2pm followed by your selected three course meal at 3pm 🩷

This is a great opportunity to get a feel for how it will be on your Wedding Day as well as to chat with our Wedding Coordinators and recommended suppliers!

We have an incredible opportunity to join our team of Wedding Coordinators and to help make our couples big day memorable 🤍
This role would include:
💞 Running our couples special day
💞 Greeting guests
💞 Dress fluffing
💞 Button hole pinning
💞 Room turnarounds
💞 Coordinating with the kitchen for service
💞 Liaising with registrars and celebrants for the ceremony, and suppliers throughout the day...
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, works great as part of a team, confident with making announcements and is flexible to work weekdays and weekends. Experience within the industry is preferred, however training will be provided!

We are looking for someone to join our Bar Team, working both on our Pub bar and Wedding bar!
✔️ Must be over 18
✔️ Bar experience required
✔️ Flexible working hours
✔️ Part time and full time available
✔️ Availability to work evenings and weekends when required

Molly is one of our fantastic Wedding Coordinators and has been here at The Plough for nearly 4 years. As I am sure many of you can agree, she is an amazing, calming and friendly face on your wedding day!

As an avid lover of all things Musical Theatre, when Molly isn’t acting as your Master of Ceremonies and carrying Brides dresses, she can probably be found listening to the Wicked soundtrack on repeat (not to mention she is an epic singer herself!!)
